Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano

Zezé Di Camargo and Luciano are brothers, the sons of a poor farmer from Goiás state. Their father's greatest wish was for his sons to grow up to be famous musicians. And indeed, they did. They are now two of the most famous and beloved singers in Brazil, and some of the highest-earning as well. Their story was featured in the film "Dois Filhos de Francisco," which became wildly popular.

The movie describes the struggles the brothers have faced, growing up in extreme poverty, and how the original duo was made up of Zezé and his younger brother Emival, who was killed in a car accident when he was 11.
The duo sings sertanejo music, which is the Brazilian equivalent of American country music. Starting their career in the countryside, the musicians made their way to São Paulo, and finally in 1991, they made their big break with the hit single "É o Amor" (It's Love).

They sold 16 million albums between 1991 and 2000 alone, and in total have sold around 24 million albums. They perform about 120 shows per year, with an average of 30,000 people per show. They also have won two Latin Grammys.
